Terms and Conditions for the set OCR App
Welcome to the set OCR app. Before using the App, please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Data Handling and Privacy
We prioritize the utmost data privacy and security for our users. The set OCR app employs cutting-edge security measures and utilizes advanced servers based on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure. This ensures the highest level of protection and confidentiality for your data throughout its processing and storage.
We acknowledge that some organizations may not permit the use of cloud services. For such cases, we recommend using our on-premise OCR server installation.
Personal Data Collection
We collect only the data necessary to enable the use of this app within your monday.com account, such as account name, user name, and general account information required for data analysis. The information is securely stored and not transferred to any third party.
OCR API (Hosted Solution, Cloud OCR)
Uploaded documents are deleted after processing. We do not retain any of your data.
If you opt for a searchable PDF, the file will be available on our servers for 60 minutes for download, after which it will be deleted.
We log the IP address of each API access. This information is stored for a month and then deleted.
OCR API On-Premise
The on-premise version of the OCR API exclusively processes data on your machines and does not access the internet.
User Responsibilities
Users of the set OCR app are responsible for ensuring that the documents they upload do not contain sensitive, confidential, or illegal information. The app disclaims any liability for the content of uploaded documents.
Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless the set OCR app, its developers, and its affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of the user’s use of the app, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.
Limitation of Liability
The set OCR app and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from the use or inability to use the app.
Termination
The set OCR app reserves the right to suspend, disable, or terminate a user’s account and access to the app at its sole discretion, without notice or liability, for any reason, including if the user violates these terms.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute arising from the use of the set OCR app shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Israel. Any legal action or proceedings related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Israel.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these terms shall remain in full force and effect.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy may be revised periodically, and you are advised to review it regularly.
Applicable Law
The set OCR app is developed by set, headquartered in Israel. Strict European data protection laws apply.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The set OCR app complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) EU Regulation. A signed GDPR data processing agreement is available for PRO PDF and Enterprise users at no additional cost.
